Ellora Caves: A must visit place for children and students. Explore ancient temples, monuments and glorious art works of that depicts Hindu, Buddhist and Jain religion. Ellora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in the district of Aurangabad, Maharashtra. It is a must see temple because Ellora is one of the largest rock-cut monastery-temple cave complexes that features artwork, and sculptures dating from the 600–1000 CE period. It is a wonder because it is the largest single monolithic rock excavation in the world and here you would explore a number of temples associated with the religion of Hindu, Buddhist and Jain.

Statue of Unity: As published by Indiatvnews.com the number of footfalls at the Statue of Unity surpassed the Statue of Liberty located in the US. The 182 meters the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue, has become a major tourist attraction in Gujarat. This Statue of Unity built in honor of Sardar Vallabbhai Patel, popularly known called as the ‘Iron Man of India’, is a must visit place for domestic visitors.
Apart from the statue itself, the beautiful Satpura and Vindhyachal hills along with the river Narmada enhances the beauty of the surroundings and makes it more striking.

The other major attraction at this site is a viewer’s gallery which is built inside the statue and is capable to accommodate 200 persons approx. at a time. This gallery is at a height of 135 meters from the ground and as it is a tourist center provisions are made with high-speed lifts to carry more than 1000 persons per day to the gallery.
The Tent City Narmada, just 10 minutes away from the Statue of Unity, is a nature retreat as it is surrounded by green meadows, magnificent water cascades, and areas of dense forest which is a home of various wild creatures.

Nalanda University: It is one of the most ancient universities in the world. Located in Rajgir, near Nalanda, Bihar this University was built in 5th century by King Kumaragupta I and was a renowned learning center in ancient India. It was a Buddhist monastery and not only students but also the teachers came from distance countries from this early university. In ancient time, this University imparted Vedic studies and gradually it prospered. This university was destroyed and damaged by an army under Bakhtiyar Khalji in c. 1200 CE. However, there are ruins of the University has archaeological importance and this place is declared as a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Indians should be really proud of Nalanda and should visit and explore this historical place.
